As Chair of the Maui County Council’s Water and Infrastructure Committee, Tom has led conversations and action around some of Maui’s most urgent needs. He introduced Resolution 24-161, CD1, which the Council adopted in 2024, urging the county to expand recycled R-1 water use to preserve potable water for affordable housing, fire protection, agriculture, greenbelts, and cultural uses.
His re-election campaign is about keeping Maui moving forward with balanced leadership, responsible decision-making, and real-world experience — not political extremes or recycled promises.
